Onstage Local 2017 - Melbourne

I was lucky enough to go to Onstage Local - South Pacific - Melbourne for our Stampin' Up! Convention.  It was an amazing day and I had the best time.  It was my first onstage experience and I wasn't disappointed.  It was organised so well from start to finish.

This is a photo of my friend and fellow demonstrator Maggie Griffin and myself at onstage.  #Loveitliveitshareit

Part of the experience is to do swaps.  I had so much fun doing this.  In fact, it was almost the best part of the day.  It was a great way to stop, talk to and meet other demonstrators from around Australia.  I met people not only from Melbourne but from Sydney, Adelaide, Tasmania and even Perth.

The idea of swaps is to learn new techniques and gain inspiration from fellow demonstrators.  Stampin' Up! is a great big family and demonstrators across the globe are supportive of one another, not competitive.  The majority of demonstrators get into the business due to their love of craft, stamping and sharing our creativity with others.  For some it is a huge money making business but for most it is a personal passion and expression of who we are.  We are kindred creators...

Anyway, following are pictures of the swaps I received.  I have listed who they are from underneath each photo.  A huge thank you for all my swaps.  I am overwhelmed by your creativity and thank you from the bottom of my heart for swapping with me.

The rest of the day allowed for presentations, freebies galore, early preview of the Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration catalogue (😍😱) and time to stamp and create 4 projects.  I can't post them yet as per policy.

Will definitely go again if I get the chance in the future.  A great perk of being a demonstrator!!!

Also, if you live in Australia, I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  Follow the link to my online store for any supplies or contact me for more information.  I can even help you to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator which has fantastic benefits.
